Srinagar: Apni Party Youth General Secretary, In-charge Eidgah Constituency and Corporator SMC Mohammad Ashraf Palpori on Thursday called on Secretary J&K Sports Council Nuzhat Gul and appraised her about the numerous issues raised by the locals pertaining to various playfields in Eidgah Constituency.
In a statement issued here, Palpori expressed gratitude to Nuzhat Gul for sparing time to listen to the woes of the people especially youth of Eidgah who aspire to excel in sports activities.
“I represented the problems faced by the local residents of Eidgah Constituency in which I discussed the issues faced by the youngesters and sportsmen hailing from Tulkul Maidaan Noorbagh,
New Colony Playground, Badiwadar, Bakshipora
Takenwari and Iqbal playfield Noorbagh. Installation of high-mast lights, fencing, earth filling and other issues were brought into the notice of Nuzhat ji who assured of requisite action at an earliest,” he said.
I am hopeful that these genuine and long pending demands will be addressed without any further delay and timely appropriate action will be taken so that model playfields will add to the fervour of sportsmenship.
