New Delhi: India registered 1,260 new Covid-19 cases, taking the total tally of cases to 4,30,27,035 in the country, as per the Health Ministry data on Saturday. As many as 83 fresh Covid fatalities were also recorded, taking the total death count in the country to 5,21264. The active cases currently stand at 13,445 which now comprise 0.03 per cent of the total infections, while the national Covid-19 recovery rate has decreased to 98.76 per cent. Meanwhile, 1,404 recoveries were also reported, increasing the tally to 4,24,92,326. According to Ministry on Saturday 79.02 Crore tests for Covid-19 have been done so far, while, a total of 5,28,021 tests have been conducted on Friday. “India has administered 184.52 cr doses of Covid-19 vaccine so far under the ongoing nationwide vaccination drive.
