Srinagar, Nov 21: A 55-year-old pedestrian was killed in a road accident in Sholipora area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Saturday.
An official said that an elderly man was hit by a speedy motorcycle bearing registration number JK04C-2902 near Sholipora area of Budgam, leaving him critically injured.
He was immediately rushed to nearby hospital from where he was referred to SMHS Hospital Srinagar where he succumbed to his injuries.
The deceased was identified as Ghulam Mohammad Lone son of Juma Lone, a resident of Haknipora Budgam.
Meanwhile, Police have taken cognizance of the incident and investigations are on. (KDC)
