Srinagar, April 1: In a Major push to strengthen its grassroots footprint, BJP General Secretary Anwar Khan chaired a high-level strategy meeting with district in-charges for the forthcoming panchayat elections, signaling the party’s aggressive preparedness across Jammu and Kashmir. The meeting was attended by key district leaders including Mohammad Amin Shah (Ganderbal), Sameer Ahmed Shah (Budgam), Sajad Ahmad (Dooru-Anantnag), Lateef Bhat (Pulwama), Zubair Ahmed Ganie (Kulgam), Zahoor Ahmad Lone (Kupwara), Raja Waqar (Baramulla), and Naseer Ahmad Lone (Bandipora), who reviewed ground-level realities and shared district-specific feedback.
Addressing the gathering, Anwar Khan asserted that the BJP is fully committed to empowering grassroots democracy and ensuring that development reaches the last mile. He emphasized that the upcoming panchayat elections are not just electoral exercises but a decisive battle to strengthen transparent governance, accountability, and inclusive development in rural Jammu and Kashmir. He called upon party cadre to intensify public outreach, counter misinformation, and highlight the central government’s developmental initiatives and achievements at the grassroots level. He stressed disciplined coordination, booth-level management, and strategic mobilization as ключ factors for electoral success.
State Secretary Arif Raja and All Cells Incharge Bilal Parray also addressed the meeting, underscoring the need for a unified organizational approach and effective communication strategy to connect with every household.
