Kulgam, December 11, 2024: Angel’s Cultural Academy, in collaboration with Shahr e Khaas Literary & Cultural Welfare Society and Al Hilal Residential Education Institute, Chawalgam, organized a grand Naat competition and Seerat conference in Kulgam district.
The event, held at Al Hilal Residential Education Institute, witnessed participation from over 50 students from different schools in the district. Competitions were held in two categories: Naat recitation and Seerat competition.
Dr. Tariq Ahmad Shera, founder & President of Angel’s Cultural Academy & Shahr e Khaas Literary & Cultural Welfare Society, said, “We are committed to promoting cultural and literary activities in the state. Such events will be organized in different districts to provide a platform for young talent to showcase their skills.”

1. Hadiya Tariq (Royal Kids Chawalgam) – 1st Position
2. Munaza Reyaz (Al Hilal Residential Education Institute Chawalgam) – 2nd Position
3. Arooba Sartaj (Al Hilal Residential Education Institute Chawalgam) – 3rd Position
*Seerat Conference Winners:*
1. Tawqeera Arshid (Al Hilal Residential Education Institute Chawalgam) – 1st Position
2. Fatima Sabzar (Al Hilal Residential Education Institute Chawalgam) – 2nd Position
3. Irtiqa Sajad (Govt Middle School Sofipora) – 3rd Position
The program was hosted by Hafiz Shabir Ahmad Naikoo, and judged by Aijaz Ahmad Mir, Intikhab Alam, and Tariq Ahmad Lone.
The event was attended by prominent personalities, including:
– Chief Guest: Dr. Shabir Ahmad Padder (Principal Degree College Kilam)
– Guest of Honour: Mohammad Rafiq Lone (Ex Chairman J&K Yateem Foundation)
– Special Guests: Dr. Tariq Ahmad Malik, Ghulam Nabi Wani, Mohammad Syedullah Bhat, Firdous Ahmad Shakshaz, Showkat Hussain Rather (Principal Al Hilal Residential Education Institute Chawalgam), and Sahil Fayaz.
The top three position holders in both competitions were awarded prizes by distinguished guests. Media persons were also honored with certificates and medals for their coverage of the event.
