Srinagar : Two militants were killed in a gunfight with joint team of police and army in Nowpora area of North Kashmir’s Sopore on Friday.
A top police officer told GNS that two militants were killed in the gunfight.
The gunfight erupted on Thursday evening after a specific input was received by police and security forces in Nowpora area about the presence of some militants.
In the initial phase of the gunfight, two armymen and a civilian were injured in the gunfight and were immediately shifted to nearby hospital, where their condition is stated to be stable. (GNS)
