Srinagar, : The government on Friday constituted an Inter-Departmental Group (IMGP) for better coordination and easy flow of data for compilation of Environment Accounts in Jammu & Kashmir.
The IMGP has been tasked to assess availability of data for compilation of Environmental Economic Accounts, identify data gaps and recommending measures for filling the data gaps. It has been also tasked with to assess resource requirements and capacity development for implementation of Environmental – Economic Accounting; to suggest roadmap for implementation of sector wise accounts and to enhance coordination, streamline data flow and contribute significantly to the successful compilation of Environment Accounts in Jammu & Kashmir.(GNS)
