Srinagar : In a bid to keep a check on rampant illegal constructions, Sub-divisional Magistrate Kokernag Monday strictly instructed all line departments from issuing No-Objection-Certificates (NOCs) without designated offices.
“In order to check the rampant illegal constructions in the area, all line departments are put under strict instructions not to issue No Objection Certificates in favour of applicants with respect to construction of building without verifying CLU permission in case of commercial structures and NOC of Tehsildar in case of residential buildings”, reads an order, a copy of which lies with GNS.
“Any deviation of this order shall attract disciplinary action against the defaulters under rules”, reads the order further. (GNS)
