Srinagar : The Government on Tuesday formed a committee for engagements in District Level Project Management Units (PMUs) under the Jal Jeevan Mission.
Headed by Principal Secretary JJM, the six-member committee has been asked to formulate modalities and selection of technical persons and experts on contract basis from open market for their engagement in District Level PMUs to be set up under the Jal Jeevan Mission, according to a government order, a copy of which lies with GNS.
Its terms of reference, as per the order, to devise and finalize modalities, source, selection/eligibility criteria for engagement of the Experts/Project Managers for District level PMUs; To finalize draft of the advertisement notification, if required to be issued; To structure of remuneration to be paid and Scrutiny, interview, selection and recommendation of suitable persons to be engaged.
