Akhnoor, : Former Cabinet Minister Sham Lal Sharma had a narrow escape today in the Akhnoor area of the Jammu region when the vehicle he was traveling in was hit by a truck from the right side.
Sharma who joined BJP after resigning from the Congress party escaped unhurt, however, four persons including the driver and the PA of Sharma suffered injuries in the accident.
Sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that the injured have been shifted to the hospital where their condition are stated to be stable.
Pertinently, Sham Lal Sharma, the former Health Minister during NC-Congress joint rule is currently Vice President BJP for Jammu and Kashmir. (KNT)
