New Delhi: Continuing her series of meetings with leaders from Uttar Pradesh following the party’s decimal performance in the recently-concluded Assembly polls, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Thursday separately met senior leaders and office bearers from the state. According to sources, Priyanka, who was the poll in charge in UP, met former state president Ajay Kumar Lallu, newly elected MLA Virendra Chaudhary, and others separately. During their one-to-one meeting with the Congress General Secretary, they discussed Assembly results, and strategy for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, sources said. Earlier on Tuesday, she had held a meeting with senior leaders from the state to analyse the poll results in the state and also discussed a roadmap for the 2024 General Elections. In Uttar Pradesh, Congress won only two seats compared to seven in 2017 and its vote share went down to 2.5 per cent. UNI DS RJ
