Jaunpur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday attacked Samajwadi Party (SP) and said the formula of dynastic politicians to run the government was to loot Uttar Pradesh and crush the dreams of the poor. Addressing an election rally here, Modi said, “The formula of dynastic politicians to run the government was to loot UP and crush the dreams of the poor. They never saw your pain and problems.” Without taking the name of SP president Akhilesh Yadav, he said, “Five years back I used to send them letters, because they were in the government and he was the Chief Minister. I used to say repeatedly that the Government of India is providing you funds, you complete the work of constructing the houses for the poor expeditiously.” “My letters used to get filed, but they were not concerned about the life of the poor. They knew only one thing that was to fill their coffers. I will give you an astonishing figure after which none of the residents will ever vote for these dynastic politicians. We made a scheme to provide ‘pucca’ houses to every poor and asked the UP government how many houses will you construct in Jaunpur, we are ready to give money,” Modi said. He said dynastic politicians sanctioned only one house for the poor in Jaunpur. “Is this pardonable? Is there only one poor family in Jaunpur? Will you send such people to Lucknow again? For the same Jaunpur city where dynastic politicians sanctioned only one house, the BJP government has approved 30,000 dwellings of which 15,000 have been completed and majority are in the name of our mothers and sisters,” He said. The PM said the BJP government is working continuously to make the lives of the people easy. “BJP has not come to UP to rule, we have come here to serve the people of UP lifelong without any discrimination and partiality,” he said. He said this is the first time after independence that the voice of the people of Purvanchal is resonating with great strength from Delhi to Lucknow. “Dynastic politicians left the people of Purvanchal on their own. Dynastic politicians made all efforts to divide the people of UP in caste and creed. But the people of UP understood their trick. Today the entire UP is standing united,” he said. Modi said the intention of BJP is ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas’. “It is the policy of BJP that whatever policy is made its benefit reaches each and every beneficiary and that too without any middlemen. The people of Jaunpur know the intention of the dynastic politicians very well, therefore Dalits, poor, backwards and our sisters should remain cautious from such people,” he said. Referring to the Ukraine crisis, he said, “Time is posing new challenges before the entire world every day therefore your vote is making India strong to face these challenges. The people of UP can never forget where these dynastic politicians were during the challenging period of Corona and what they did. They were conspiring as to how to defame the Indian vaccine.
