He suffered bullet injury in neck: SSP Sgr; MS SMHS says he is stable
Srinagar: An Inspector of Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) was shot at by unidentified gunmen at Dhobi Mohalla area of Batamaloo on Monday evening.
Official sources told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that an ACB Inspector identified as Sheikh Firdous, son of Sheikh Abdullah of Dhobi Mohalla was shot at by the unidentified gunmen outside his home.
He was immediately rushed to SMHS hospital for treatment.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Srinagar, Rakesh Balwal told KNO that he was shot at by unknown militants outside Masjid and has suffered bullet injury in neck.
He is stable and undergoing treatment, SSP said.
