Moscow: The Russian Defence Ministry on Wednesday announced the end of Crimea military drills. “A train carrying military equipment belonging to the units stationed in the Southern Military District has crossed the Crimean Bridge on its way to permanent bases after completing routing drills,” TASS quoted the Ministry as saying. The ministry has also tweeted a video of its troops leaving. This comes a day after the Defence Ministry announced its decision to pull back some of its troops from the Ukraine border. On Tuesday, President Joe Biden warned Moscow that the US is prepared to respond decisively if Russia decides to invade Ukraine. “We are ready with diplomacy — to be engaged in diplomacy with Russia and our Allies and partners to improve stability and security in Europe as a whole. And we are ready to respond decisively to a Russian attack on Ukraine, which is still very much a possibility,” he said. According to earlier, reports, Russia has amassed more than 100,000 troops at Ukraine’s border. However, Russia has denied these reports. UNI RNJ
