Srinagar, Dec 12: Jammu and Kashmir reported four fresh fatalities due to covid-19 while 126 persons tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said on Sunday.
15 of the fresh cases were reported from Jammu Division and 111 from Kashmir, taking the overall tally to 338871.
There were four deaths reported from the Valley due to the virus during the last 24 hours, they said. So far 4495 persons—2189 in Jammu and 2306 in Kashmir—have died due to the virus, they said.
Giving district wise details of the fresh cases, the officials told GNS that Srinagar reported 52 cases, Baramulla 19, Budgam 11, Pulwama 7, Kupwara 3, Anantnag 2, Bandipora 9, Ganderbal 8, Kulgam 0, Shopian 0, Jammu 9, Udhampur 0, Rajouri 1, Doda 0, Kathua 1, Samba 0, Kishtwar 2, Poonch 2, Ramban 0 and Reasi 0.

Moreover, 176 Covid-19 patients recovered during the time 48 from Jammu Division and 128 from Kashmir, they said.
So far 332835 patients have recovered, leaving active case tally at 1541—385 in Jammu and 1156 in Kashmir.
