Srinagar,Nov 25: After being grilled for two days, senior People’s Democratic Party (PDP) leader and youth president Waheed Ur Rehman Para was formally arrested on Wednesday, by National Investigation Agency (NIA).
A senior official in NIA confirmed that Waheed, the youth wing leader of PDP was formally arrested, in the arrest case of suspended J&K police DySP Davinder Singh with militants.
Waheed has undergone questioning for two days in New Delhi, after being summoned by the agency under section 160 CPC.
Meanwhile sources revealed that few politicians are also on the radar of NIA for having their involvement in the case.
They without naming the person said that among others, there are more politicians, who are expected to face arrest in coming weeks. (KDC)
