Budgam, July 21: Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Khansahab Syed Ahmad on Tuesday asserted that district administration has fully over powered Covid-19 in the area and the situation is “under control”.
He said those tested Covid-19 positive have been kept into hospitals for treatment while their immediate contacts have been put under quarantine and asserted that till now the situation in Khansaheb area of Budgam district is under control.
“The situation is comprehensively under control. Authorities are on toes and dealing with the situation professionally. Those tested Covid-19 positive have already been shifted to health centers while their immediate contacts have also been quarantined for precautionary measures”, SDM Khansaheb said.
He appealed people in general to act strictly upon guidelines meant for the wellbeing of community. “Besides wearing masks and using sanitizers, I appeal people to follow all SOPs issued by authority and maintain social distance which is pre-requisite for keeping the pandemic away”, he said. (KNS)
