Srinagar, July 16: Door-to-door searches were conducted in Qazi Masjid Karfali Mohalla of Habakadal area of Srinagar city.
Eyewitnesses said that government forces in armoured vehicles emerged in the area and launched search operation. Various houses were searched and identification cards of people were checked.
The search operation was launched suspicious movement of suspected militants were reported, said a police official adding that search operation concluded peacefully.
It was the second CASO in past three days in Habakadal area. Earlier, search operation was conducted in Zaindar Mohall while yesterday a cordon and search operation was launched in Ahmad Nagar area of Srinagar outskirts. (KNT)
