Appeal Govt to look into the matter
Srinagar, June 08: The residents of Kashmiri who havearranged two charter flights are still awaiting the landing permission from the authorities in Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmiris who are evacuating their fellows to the Valley said that over 680 residents have registered themselves for returning to Jammu and Kashmir.
However, they said all the formalities have been keenly waiting for the permission from the authorities in the Union Territory.
They said that a company namely Fly-Dubai has also written to the concerned authorities to seek landing permission. “The company has not got any respond from the authorities so far,” they said.
They appealed the concerned in Jammu and Kashmir to look into the matter and ensure the landing permission is granted at an earliest so that the Kashmiris desiring to reach Valley would return soon.
Pertinently, at least half a dozen Kashmiri residents have arranged two charter flights to evacuate their fellows including those facing medical emergencies to the Valley.
As reported , at least five to six persons who are from Kashmir have decided to evacuate their fellows to the Valley. “We have started a process in this regard and at least 650 Kashmiris have been registered within 24 hours for evacuation,” a Kashmiri youth, who is one of among the members who have started evacuation process had said–(KNO)
