Srinagar, March 18 : A mother-son duo on Wednesday tested positive for coronavirus in Ladakh, taking the tally of such patients in the newly carved out Union territory to 8.
Commissioner Secretary Rigzin Samphel said that the mother and the son had come in contact with a COVID-19 patient who had arrived from Iran recently.
“Test reports of 70 persons are yet to come and we are awaiting it,” he said.
He also informed that there are now eight patients who have tested positive for the coronavirus and that all of them have been kept in isolation. (GNS)
