Srinagar, Mar 16: A purported video of former Jammu Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik is making rounds on social media networking sites in which Malik can be heard saying the audience that in Jammu and Kashmir Governors sit idle and their job is to only drink wine and play golf.
Malik in the video says that in India States, Governors have nothing to do and in Jammu and Kashmir Governors only drink wine and play golf. The video of Malik according to Kashmir News Trust is viral and is inviting the sharp and humorous reactions from netizens.
The video has been shot apparently when Satya Pal Malik was addressing a gathering in Bhagpat area of Uttar Pradesh.
Earlier as well the video of Malik had gone viral in which he revealed that the Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir had told him that at least 10,000 people will die in Kashmir if special status is revoked. He came under sharp criticism for his remarks and even Iltija Mufti, the daughter of Mehbooba Mufti had accused him of hatching a conspiracy to kill common Kashmiris.
Though Satya Pal Malik is the Governor of Goa but he is often in news for his remarks on Kashmir. (KNT)
