Anantnag, June, 13: Senior National Conference (NC) leader and Vice District President Anantnag, Imran Amin Shah, expressed relief and satisfaction after the missing minor girls from the Nunwani area were successfully traced.
Shah also played a key role in helping restore normalcy during the public protest that led to the blockage of the Anantnag–Kishtwar Highway. By engaging with agitating local women and facilitating dialogue between them and the police, he urged the public to allow the authorities sufficient time to carry out their investigation and trace the missing girls.
Imran Shah congratulated the police and district administration for their prompt response, tireless efforts, and coordinated action that led to the safe tracing of the girls. He appreciated the professionalism and dedication shown by the concerned officials in handling the matter with urgency and sensitivity.
He also thanked the general public, civil society members, and local residents for maintaining calm and cooperating with the authorities during the investigation. Shah said that the safe recovery of the girls has brought immense relief to their families and the entire community.
Reiterating the importance of collective responsibility, Shah emphasized that society must continue to guide and protect the younger generation through strong moral values, awareness, and constructive engagement.
He expressed hope that such incidents will serve as a reminder of the need for greater vigilance and community cooperation in safeguarding the well being of children and youth.
