Washington D.C, USA: In a series of updates from the White House, former U.S. President Donald J. Trump revealed active developments on international trade deals, highlighting ongoing discussions with South Korea and a concluded agreement with Pakistan.
Speaking on the matter, Trump stated that he had engaged with leaders from numerous countries, all aiming to foster stronger trade relations with the United States. “All of whom want to make the United States extremely happy,” he said.
The former president disclosed plans to meet with the South Korean Trade Delegation later in the day, noting that South Korea currently faces a 25% tariff. “They have an offer to buy down those tariffs,” he shared, expressing interest in hearing the details of the proposal.
In a significant diplomatic development, Trump announced the conclusion of a deal with Pakistan. According to him, the United States and Pakistan will collaborate to develop Pakistan’s “massive oil reserves.” He further mentioned that discussions are underway to select the leading oil company that will spearhead this partnership.
“Who knows, maybe they’ll be selling oil to India someday!” Trump remarked optimistically.
