New Delhi; July 13: External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar has embarked on an official visit to Singapore and China, starting today and continuing till July 15.
During his stop in Singapore, Dr. Jaishankar is scheduled to hold meetings with key national leaders and engage in diplomatic discussions with his Singaporean counterpart, focusing on strengthening strategic and economic cooperation between the two nations.
Following his engagements in Singapore, the Minister will travel to Tianjin, China, where he will participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Foreign Ministers’ Meeting. On the sidelines of the summit, Dr. Jaishankar is also expected to hold bilateral talks with several counterparts, including discussions on regional security, trade, and multilateral cooperation.
This visit is seen as a key step in India’s ongoing diplomatic outreach in the Indo-Pacific and Eurasian regions
