Srinagar/Aijaz Baba: In a remarkable initiative that embodies Patriotism and national pride the Aqsa International Foundation under the dynamic Chairpersonship of Miss Gowher Mir has undertaken a remarkable initiative to stitch National flag. the team of 5 dedicated Tailors at Aqsa’s Tailoring Center worked Tirelessly for almost 10 days to stitch a large Tricolour Measuring 36 by 24 which is set to be installed at the top of Hari Parbat
The effort showcase the Aqsa Foundation’s Commitment to Promote National unity and symbols of National Pride ,The installation of the flag at such a prominent venue is a landmark achievement for foundation
While speaking with Media Chairperson Aqsa International Foundation Miss Gowher Mir said that stitching a national flag of such large size (36 by 24) is a first in Kashmir. She highlighted that usually, national flags are sourced from places like Ambala or Amritsar, but this time, they received an order to create one locally. Miss Gowher Mir reaffirmed her commitment to serving people and working towards the welfare of community and promoting symbol of national pride
The Foundation continues its mission of serving the under privileged and ensuring that those in need are not forgotten during any circumstances. The Trust is committed to work on women empowerment, organising medical camps, blood camps and awareness programmes with special focus on Skill development
