Awantipora : Continuing its drive against the Drug peddlers and its propagators, Awantipora Police arrested drug peddler from Awantipora area .
During naka Checking at Kaigam Crossing ,Police party of Police Post Toll Plaza under the supervision of IC Police Post Toll Plaza SI Muneer Ahmad arrested 01 drug peddler identified as Sahil Rashid Parray S/O Ab Rashid Parray R/O Jawbara Awantipora.
The arrested person was moving in a suspicious circumstances and during search 23 grams of Cannabis like substance was recovered from his possession .
Case FIR No. 171 /2024 under relevant section of NDPS Act stands registered in Police Station Awantipora and investigation.
