Handwara:A residential house was gutted in fire in Pohrupath area of Langate in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district today early morning.
Fire broke out in the residential house of Shahnaz Ahmad Dar son of Gh mohd Dar resident of pohrupath langate resulting in partial damage to the house.
According to the API correspondent, as soon as fire broke out, local youths got together which were immediately joined by 30 Rashtriya Rifles and fire fighters brought fire under control and prevented from spreading to nearby residential houses .
All the items inside the house including clothing and food grains were destroyed in the mishap.
