Another critically injured, Protest erupts
Srinagar, Oct 14: A youth was Killed while another one was critically injured after hit by an Army vehicle in Batwara area of Srinagar on Wednesday.
Sources said that a scooty rider died onspot while another one sustained injuries, after the scooty they were riding on was hit by a speedy army vehicle near Batwara area.
However, the injured one was immediately shifted to nearby hospital where his condition is stated to be critical.
Meanwhile, Traffic movement has been halted on the Badami-Bagh inner stretch after hundreds of locals blocked the road and staged a strong protest, demanding action against the accused driver.
A Police official said that they have taken cognizance of the incident and details about the incident are being asserted. (KDC)
