Kupwara, July 02: Four person died at Dard Harie Kralpora in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Wednesday after they fell in the well.
They were rescued from the well under unconscious state, and shifted to hospital where they were declared dead. Officials said that four persons were rescued from a well and all of them were unconscious till they were shifted to hospital.
Locals along with police and team from administration and medical at the spot, rescued the four, who had slipped into 20 feet deep well.
The official said on reaching the spot, first the upper surface was broken after which all the four unconscious youth were rescued and evacuated to nearby health centre. “All the four were declared brought dead by the doctors at the health centre,” the official said.
A top police official said the bodies have been handed over to their legal heirs for last rites after all medico-legal formalities—(KNO)
